Types of Patterson BMX bicycles
Here are some of the most popular models of BMX bikes launched by Patterson:
1978 Patterson Long
This model is characterized by its wheel dropouts, blue arayas, orange and chrome-backed decals. This bicycle has been last ridden around 1986 and has been remodeled with white decals, Redline Flight 400 cranks, A'me Tri grips, Dia-Comp MX brakes, Suntour pedals and Wal-Mart chain.
1979 Patterson ‘Anderson Avalanche
This 20" frame bike is marked by a long rear triangle and shorter top tube. It was originally constructed with the bikes of Richie Anderson as a guiding model. Among its newly introduced features, you can find the Mongoose forks, Araya 7c rims, Suntour clamp, Kasimax seat and Haro lever.
1981 Patterson Racing
The original bicycle was in a chrome and black color scheme but years of riding have thrown most of the parts out of alignment. Currently, it has been reconstructed with GT bars, Oury grips, Dia Compe brakes, Suntour 44t chain ring, MKS pedals, Redline cranks and Viscount seat.
1983 Patterson Pro
This bicycle has Redline flight cranks, Patterson bars, seat post, frames and forks, NOS Oury grips, Dia-Compe brake set, Tuf-neck stem and seat clamp and Crupi Pro pedals.
